报告题目：Empirical likelihood inference for the panel count data with informative observation process

报告内容：Panel count data refer to interval-censored recurrent event data, which often arise from longitudinal studies. Each study subject is observed only at discrete time
points rather than continuously. As a result, one can only know the total number of events occurred between two observation time points instead of the actual time of the events. Furthermore, the observation times can be different among subjects and carry important information about the underlying recurrent process. In this paper, we proposed empirical likelihood (EL) method for panel count data with informative observation times. Specifically, an empirical likelihood ratio for the vector of regression coefficients was formulated and the Wilk’s theorem was established. Simulation studies were carried out to show the performance of empirical likelihood and compare those with normal approximation methods. We compare the EL with existing methods using an illustrative example from a bladder cancer study.
报告人简介：李霓，女，美国密苏里大学博士，耶鲁大学博士后，海南师范大学数学与统计学院副教授，硕士研究生导师。主要从事数理统计、生物统计、生存分析、纵向数据分析等方面的研究。

报告题目：Conditions for persistence and ergodicity of a stochastic Lotka-Volterra predator-prey model with regime switching

报告内容：Astochastic Lotka–Volterra predator–prey model with regime switching is investigated. We examine whenthe system is persistence in mean and the extinction under some appropriate conditions, and we discuss the threshold between them. Sufficient conditions for the stationary distribution which is ergodic and positive recurrent of the solution is established using stochastic Lyapunov functions. Simulations are also carried out to illustrate our analytical results.
报告人简介：祖力，女，东北师范大学博士毕业，海南省 “515人才工程”第三层次人才，海南师范大学数学与统计学院副教授、学术型硕士研究生导师。主要从事随机微分方程、生物数学方面的研究。

报告题目：An affine scaling derivative-free trust-region method for solving nonlinear systems subject to linear inequality constraints

报告内容：An affine-scaling derivative-free trust-region method with interior backtracking line search technique is considered for solving nonlinear systems subject to linear inequality constraints. The proposed algorithm is designed to take advantage of the problem structured by building polynomial interpolation models for each function in the nonlinear system function F. The proposed approach is developed by forming a quadratic model with an appropriate quadratic function and scaling matrix: there is no need to handle the constraints explicitly. By using both trust-region strategy and interior backing line search technique, each iteration switches to backtracking step generated by the trust-region subproblem and satisfies strict interior point feasibility by line search backtracking technique. Under reasonable conditions, the global convergence and fast local convergence rate of the proposed algorithm are established.

报告题目：Products of pairs of orthogonal projections

报告内容： 算子理论与算子代数的研究起源于上世纪40年代，是基础数学的最重要的热门研究课题之一。本次报告将主要介绍算子理论与算子代数中的一个有趣的分支“双射影理论”，它在线性算子的摄动理论、概率论、Fredholm 理论、复几何、统计学、小波理论、不变子空间理论等许多的数学分支中都有应用。同时，我们运用双摄影理论及算子分块技巧刻画了两个摄影乘积对的最优分解；给出两个正交摄影乘积的一般表示形式，最后，给出双摄影乘积表示唯一的充要条件。
讲座人简介：余维燕，女，数学与统计学院副教授，理学博士，基础数学专业。学术型硕士研究生导师与教育硕士研究生导师。兼任全国数学教育研究会常务理事，中国高等教育学会教育数学专业委员会理事。主要研究领域为泛函分析，算子理论与算子代数，数学课程与教学论。在国内外重要数学学术期刊上发表论文20余篇，其中有两篇SCI他引率达47次和30次。在科学出版社出版专著一部，出版教育类书籍4部。主持一项国家自然科学基金，主持结题两项海南省自然科学基金，主持结题一项海南省教育厅高等学校科研重点项目。2010年9月-2011年6月访问中科院“华罗庚首席数学家”葛力明研究员与“陈景润之星”袁巍研究员；2012年9月-12月访问美国加州大学；2016年4月-2017年4月获国家公派留学资助访问美国著名的高校威廉玛丽大学，师从国际著名数学家弗格森教授李志光。获海南省教育厅高等学校科研成果奖两项，海南师范大学科研成果奖一项。在海南师范大学组织召开了一次两百多人参加的国际学术会议，其中国外专家30余人，扩大了海南师范大学数学与统计学院在国内外数学界的影响。个人参加国内外学术会议40余场。
